Taking all beef sausage and pairing it with out favorite vegetables in this incredibly delicious but unique sauce that ties together the flavors perfectly
Ingredients
14oz smoked beef sausage (roped)
1ea large green pepper
1ea large yellow onion
4oz mushrooms
1/4tsp black pepper
1tbsp Kinder's Cowboy Butter
2tbsp rendered bacon fat (use beef tallow if you dont have bacon fat)
1/4cup mayo
1/2cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
Place 12 inch pan on medium-low heat
Slice up roped sausage
Add 1 tbsp of bacon fat to pan and add in the sausage. Put to medium heat.
Continue to fry until sausage is getting some color to it (5 min or so)
Julienne the onion
Remove Sausage from pan but leave as much fat/grease in the pan as possible
Add onion. Stir every couple minutes. cook until wiggly and somewhat translucent
Cut up green pepper and mushrooms
Remove onion.
Add one tbsp of bacon fat and toss in the green peppers and mushrooms
Cook for about 3 minutes stir once
Sprinkle 1 tbsp of Kinder's Cowboy Butter on top
Place lid on pan and cook for 2min
Put oven on low broil and the rack one down from the top
Take lid off and add onions in. Stir and cook for 2 min.
Place burner on low, add 1/4 cup of mayo and stir
Stir in Sausage and take off burner.
Sprinkle the cheese on top and place under the broiler
Broil until cheese starts browning
Remove from oven and let cook for 10-15 minutes before serving (this is to let is set up and keep form)
